

Where Are They Now?
Jordan Young 2022

Jordan reports that he is, "Doing great personally onto my junior year of college pursuing my degree." He will be graduating spring 2026. he told us that he has, "Reached many milestones in my life and continuing to elevate myself as college days swiftly pass!
Jordan is currently enrolled as a Communication Studies & Journalism major and is entering his junior year! He is currently living in Chatsworth, CA.
"My classes are going great as I level up in my academic standing classification. I have a huge passion and interest for writing. Writing helps free my mind and worries from all of the different life experiences. Writing helps me become creative in my own thoughts, reflections, ideas and overall understanding of life and many of life’s lessons and perceptions!"
Jordan is now a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. " My near term and long-term plans are to graduate and, possibly [enroll] master’s program at the University of Southern California... Or, learn how to invest in real estate, crypto, purchasing my own home and becoming a homeowner! I would love an opportunity to work as an educator and possibly start my own nonprofit organization to provide more resources to the communities of Los Angeles County."
Olumide Paul 2023
Olumide is attending his second year at California State University Long Beach. He is experiencing the typical ups and downs of a college student. “I am well, although I am a little stressed because it is the end of semester,” he recently told us. His major is Psychology. “My near-term goal is to get an internship in psychology. My long-term goal is to get into graduate
school.” Olumide still plans to pursue a Master’s Degree in Psychology and become a licensed therapist.


Jordan Bradford 2024
Jordan is a Freshman attending the University of Southern California (USC). He is living on campus and is majoring in Communications. “I'm doing well. My classes are going great!” When asked how he would change his preparation for college, Jordansaid that, "I feel that academically, I did a pretty good job preparing for college. Socially I probably could've been a bit more open which would have allowed the transition to college to be a bit smoother." Jordan's short-term goals are to, “Meet plenty of people and grow in my field.”
Oluwayomi Paul 2024
Oluwayomi is attending California State Fullerton. He says that his classes, “…Have been going well so far. Of course,
there are a few difficulties like my computer science class but nothing to put me off track.” Oluwayomi is currently studying
computer science. His near-term plan is to. “do well in computer science and also start making money to manage myself.” He wants to transfer after two years to a different college. Currently, the Freshman hasn’t decided his long-term plans . He simply hopes that his major “works out” for him.


Isaiah Harris 2024
“It's for sure a great experience,” Isaiah told us from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). “College is going good so far as far as my classes go. I am taking General Education (Freshman) classes this semester. I am staying on
campus because it makes it easy to get to practice everyday but I’m not sure how long this will last due to my bill being so high, all together it is $16,000 right now for my housing and meal plan for the year and I’m not sure how I am going to pay that.” Isaiah also plays wide receiver on the nationally ranked UNLV football team. “As far as football goes it’s a process but it’s coming along and I’m doing better with everyday that passes.
De'Ontay Everett 2024
De’Ontay is currently attending UCLA where he is pursuing a degree in Political Science. He says that as his first semester is, “coming to an end very shortly” and, that his classes are, “going well!” De’Ontay, who is an honor student has a rather modest immediate academic goal: “One near term plan I have is to complete my fall quarter at UCLA with a GPA of 2.0+,” he wrote. “One long term goal of mine is to graduate successfully from UCLA and commission into the United States Army within 4 years.”
